Milner Commons

Description: Design Environments worked alongside DHIC on Milner Commons, an affordable housing project for seniors in Raleigh, NC. DHIC is a non-profit creating affordable housing opportunities for families, seniors, and individuals across the Triangle region of North Carolina. DE was able to create a beautiful space where modern meets comfort for these deserving seniors. Most of the furniture was donated from the Glenaire Community, also in Raleigh and a fellow DE client. By incorporating colorful artwork alongside some new & repurposed pieces in the public areas and corridors, DE was able to create a space that Milner Commons’ residents could be proud of.
